Inspire. Create. Share. Convention. Official Day 1

I am so lucky to have been able to attend CONVENTION again this year.  This is my 4th year going.  I was hooked the moment I attended my first and I never want to miss a year!
I know I am late posting but I wanted to show you my convention experience for Inspire. Create. Share. 2014.
This is a four parter!  ENJOY!

We got our programs the night before when we registered and LOOK WHO'S PRESENTING!!!!  Tina!!   Way to go!  I have the best BFF and upline ever!!

The service project this year was to create hygiene kits for a local women's shelter.  We were each divided up and asked to bring an item in.  The boxes overfloweth!!!   Mine was toothbrushes!!

Step 2 of the more projects from ladies the morning convention was starting..we scooted in and put them up quick as a bunny.  Didn't want to miss the FIRST general session.  :-)  Lookin' good!

Line up waiting for general session.

Tina made a seat marker.  It lights up and everything!  Great to find in general session.

Main Stage!

Ann and I at her very first ever general session and convention!  :-)

All attendee giveaway!  I got the rocking chair.  LOVE IT!!

Shelli Gardner

Holiday Catalogue reveal!!   WAHOOOOOOO!

YAY!!  Speaks for itself!

Becky Higgins was there to help launch Project Life by Stampin' Up!

I went to one of the Make and Take sessions.  It was a great set up of watching an experienced demo put on a workshop.  Love it!

One of the convention make and takes.  Super cute cards!!

Step 3 was completed and the board was FULL!!  Here are some shots of our Convention Display Board and attendees taking a peek and snapping shots.

Tina and I were in the gathering place at the info booth and I saw this beautiful paper flower backdrop.  I saw a small line up too.  I thought and said to Tina we should head over and take our photos when we are done.  Then I looked closer....SHELLI was there to MEET AND GREET!!  WOWZA!  I hopped in that lineup so fast!  I have been to three other conventions and I have either missed these opportunities or the line ups were just too darned long. I was so overwhelmed...I admit I cried a bit!!  :-)

I got to meet, hug and chat with Shelli!  I was on cloud 9!

Next Tina and I headed over to take part in the Service Project.

I LOVED the spaces they set up for sitting, relaxing, meeting up with friends.  They were gorgeous, comfortable and USEFUL!

This was this years recognition room.  Tina was in there getting her pics taken again this year.  WAHOO!
Next year it is one of my goals to get access to this room!  Wish me luck.  :-)

Lots of ways to share on Social Media!!

This years convention bag!  Very cute!  Those are buttons from our paper pumpkin night out party.

Main Stage again

After supper we were headed back to the convention centre for our extra class.  The watercolour wonder card class.  It was based on a new kit in the holiday catalogue.

LOVE these bags they gave us!!!   Hope they sell these on-line. *fingers crossed*

All of our goodies.   So lucky!

Shannon West hosted this class. Love her!

This was new this year.  I think that these are a great idea!  Rent a bike to get around.  Sweet!

So glad that we were back at the Shilo this year for convention as it is RIGHT across the road from the Salt Palace Convention Centre.  It has been bought out but we are hoping it will be just as fab next July.  :-)

SU always decorates the city for convention!

These crosswalk signs always make me giggle!

onto DAY 2 in the next post!!  Stay tuned!!
