Stamp Club

Stamp Club #1 was this past Friday night.

Even though it is only October we are right in the thick of Christmas card making season!!
Love it!
I wanted to use only Holiday Mini items for my projects and I had some suggestions for techniques and card styles from the ladies.

Here is what we were working on this past weekend...

This card is done on a Pear Pizzazz base, using the Spice cake DSP for a background layer. I taught the faux linen technique and the ladies loved it!! :-) We embossed the tree in gold and stamped the lodge in Early Espresso. Our greeting is stamped in More Mustard and we finished it off with some of the sumptuous very vanilla velvet ribbon and the Dazzling Details on the lodge. Yay! The stamp set used is Christmas Lodge....LOVE THAT set.
Here is the one that I made along with them that night. Ribbon across the bottom on this one.

Our second project was a card style. The Spring Card. You can find the link here...

I used the Frostwood Lodge DSP for the base. Easy peasy instructions on line, thanks SCS!!
I just HAD to use the new Glimmer Paper as a background. We stamped using the Snow Much Fun stamp set and coordinating ink colours from the DSP. Little bit of Garden Green card stock to add a bit of pizzazz across the bottom and allow us to stamp a greeting. Add a little jingle bell to the card (new in the MINI!!!!) and voila! Christmas magic!

Here is the one that I made along with them at club. Who says your image always has to fit the paper! Love this tall snowman! psss...he looks great on coasters too!!!

Stamp Club meets once a month.
At least 6 people to make up a club but can be many more!
Each person commits to one year (12 sessions) and a $36 dollar order each month.
